Our fall art retreat allows you to refresh and recharge with art / creativity sessions led by two professional artists.

Enjoy glorious surroundings and local flavors of Palisade and nearby Grand Junction, Colorado. Retreat registration includes upscale accommodations for 4 nights, all meals, wine tastings, art supplies and instruction. Our agenda allows time to create and experiment with new techniques as well as unstructured time to unwind.

The Grand Mesa (the world’s largest flat-top mountain) is the backdrop for morning and afternoon art sessions. Try watercolor and acrylic/mixed media painting inspired by the mountains and Colorado's wine country –– did we mention Palisade features more than 30 wineries? An outing to the Colorado National Monument will lend inspiration with its wildlife and vegetation.

Don't need overnight accommodations? Look for our 'non-Lodging' retreat ticket, which includes the multi-day immersive retreat, art, meals, and outings.

Get ready to create something special! Mixed media classes are designed for participants (beginner to advanced) to learn a new art technique. Students walk away with a sense of accomplishment and a unique piece of art. *All materials are supplied for in-studio classes. For Zoom sessions, please ask for a supply list.

Schedule an Art Journaling Session

Art journaling is a method that combines writing with doodling, painting and mark making. It’s a wonderful way to express your emotions. It can also be a technique for combating anxiety and managing stress. This workshop is perfect for teens and adults.
