About the event
During this workshop, participants will paint bright, bold blooms with foliage. These are intensely colored flowers inspired by tropical plants and flowering annuals in the garden. We will work on heavyweight paper, perfect for framing.
• Learn petal and leaf shapes (palms and fern)
• Plan your composition and plot colors
• Preserve areas for light hues using masking fluid
• Layer watercolor and create interesting blends
Workshop includes all materials to create a 12"x18" stunning watercolor piece, along with 9"x12" studies/practice sheets.
