Leaves and Acorns

Use your favorite watercolors to paint autumn leaves. This class will focus on layering vibrant colors and working with shadows. This technique can be used for a variety of autumn-inspired themes. Collect a variety of leaves in preparation for the class (silk leaves from the craft store work just as well).

Supplies List:

• Watercolor Paper (9"x12" cold press, 140 lb.) 

• Watercolor Paint 

• Watercolor paintbrushes: #10 or #12 round,  and one fine detail (#4 round)

• Black ink pen (permanent ink so it won't bleed)

• Water for rinsing brushes 

• Paper towel or rag for blotting brushes
