October Skies

Paint a watercolor landscape featuring fiery, vibrant skies and a foreground silhouette. During this class, we will be working on two pieces interchangeably to allow for drying time. Learn to blend multiple colors for your desired effect. Work large, or cut your paper down to a comfortable size.

Supplies List:

• Watercolor Paper (9"x12" cold press 140 lb.)

• Watercolor Paint 

• Watercolor paintbrushes: wide flat, #10 or #12 round and fine detail brush (see photo for example)

• Water for rinsing brushes 

• Paper towel or rag for blotting brushes 

*Optional: Water-soluble crayons, pastels and/or pencils (Neocolors, Scribble Sticks, Inktense Pencils or Gelatos)

*Reference photos, if you have them
