Ombre Butterfly (ONLINE)

Use watercolor to create an attractive ombre background, then paint a colorful butterfly. This technique will show you how to master watercolor blends. • Watercolor, Mixed Media or Bristol Paper (I like 9"x12" cold press 140 lb. Watercolor paper by Canson or Strathmore)

• Watercolor paints

• Paintbrush

• Pencil or watercolor pencil

• Water for rinsing brushes

• Paper towel or rag for blotting brushes
