Sunflower Paint Outing

Saturday morning at Susanna Farms to paint sunflowers en plein air -- a Labor Day weekend treat! Enjoy this country setting with chickens, goats, and horses. (Bring a camera or plan to snap plenty of photos on your phone, because you'll have plenty of inspiration to paint once you leave the farm.)

Choose your preference: acrylic on canvas or watercolor on paper. Jennifer will provide individual instruction and guidance on capturing the gorgeous sunflowers in the medium you choose. Whether you paint a single bloom or a bouquet, this will be a memorable event. We'll be gathering in the garden area unless Mother Nature throws us a curve, in which case we'll be located in the barn with flower bouquets for reference.

After reserving your space for this event, you will receive an e-mail with directions, parking, and all the pertinent details.

What to bring:

Sunscreen, sunglasses or hat, beverage to stay hydrated, and cash to purchase items from the farm. Depending on what's available on that day, items include fresh eggs, vegetables, herbs, and flowers.
