About the event
Pumpkins / Placement / Perspective: Master the interplay of form, texture, and light in this autumnal watercolor study.
Join us for a process-oriented session studying a warm autumn scene. We’ll focus on composing a balance between a trio of pumpkins, fading hydrangeas, and fall leaves. This study emphasizes practical watercolor problem-solving: sketching a composition, mixing realistic earth tones, building depth through soft contrast, and balancing tight detailed focal points with loose, watery backgrounds. Perfect for painters looking to build confidence through practice, color experimentation, and relaxed observation.
Grab your brushes and join us online. 🎨
*This class will be recorded, so you may rewatch at any time. I’ll be using a top-down camera so you can see every brushstroke and pigment mix in real-time.
