Wild Thing

Use collage to construct a pair of Valentines. What can you use to create the hearts? Just about anything, as long as it can be glued down! The more personalized you can get with the collage ephemera, the more meaningful this project will be. We'll talk about how to mount and display the hearts at the end of class.  

Supplies List:

• Cardboard or Heavyweight Paper (cereal box works great!)

• Collage papers: scrapbook paper, doilies, old maps, stamps, old greeting cards or wrapping paper

• Mod Podge or Mat Gel Medium

• Paintbrush

• Pencil or marker 

• Water for rinsing brush

• Paper towel or rag for blotting brush 

*If desired:

• Acrylic Paint or Gouache

• Stencils
